1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Clakra ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Clakra is an AI-powered platform that allows users to generate videos and images using third-party AI models. We provide a unified interface to access multiple AI generation services through a credits-based system.
3. Accounts
You must sign in through Google OAuth to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Credits and Payments
- Credits are the virtual currency used to generate content on Clakra. Each generation consumes a variable number of credits depending on the model, duration, and resolution.
- Free accounts receive 5 credits upon signup and 1 credit daily.
- Additional credits may be purchased as one-time credit packs. Purchased credits never expire.
- Subscription credits are allocated monthly and do not roll over.
- All payments are processed by Creem.io. Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase. Credits already consumed cannot be refunded. See our Refund Policy for full details.
- If a generation task fails or times out due to a platform error, the credits consumed for that task are automatically returned to your balance. You do not need to submit a refund request for failed generations.
- You may cancel a Pro subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period. Subscriptions do not auto-renew after cancellation. We do not provide partial or prorated refunds for the remaining portion of a current billing period after cancellation.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Generate sexually explicit, pornographic, or NSFW content of any kind
- Create any content involving the sexualization or exploitation of minors — this results in immediate permanent termination and referral to law enforcement
- Create non-consensual deepfakes, impersonate individuals, or misuse another person's likeness
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or abusive
- Generate content that infringes on third-party intellectual property
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or exploit the Service
- Use automated tools to access the Service outside of our published API
- Resell or redistribute generated content as a competing service
- Generate content that violates the acceptable use policies of upstream AI model providers

6. Content Ownership and Responsibility
- You retain ownership of your original prompts and uploaded source materials.
- Generated content ownership depends on the upstream AI model provider's terms. Generally, you may use generated content for personal and commercial purposes.
- We do not claim ownership of your generated content, but we may store it temporarily for delivery purposes.
You are solely responsible for the prompts you write, the source media you upload, the content you generate, and how you use, share, or distribute such content. Clakra provides the tool; you bear full responsibility for what you create and how you use it. See our Acceptable Use Policy for prohibited uses.
7. Third-Party Services
Clakra integrates with third-party AI model providers, payment processors, and infrastructure services. Your use of these services through Clakra is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, third-party API outages, or other factors. Generation times are estimates and may vary based on queue length and upstream API performance.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clakra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings page. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
